Join Us in Empowering Zanzibar’s Youth: Support Education for a Sustainable Future
Around the world, economic developments have led to rising prices, and Zanzibar is no exception. This makes it even harder for many parents to afford school costs for their children. At the KAWA Training Centre, our focus is on building the skills and capacity of young people, enabling them to earn a decent income for themselves and their families.
We strive to maintain a fund to support those who, in addition to working for the foundation, seek assistance through an education fund. This fund relies on the generosity of our donors. We are proud that 80% of those who receive training through our programs find employment, and the quality of local tourism and tour guides has significantly improved in recent years.
With your help, we aim to expand our education fund to include training in sustainable tourism, conservation, and recycling. This will allow us to explore new opportunities and apply these skills directly in Zanzibar. Your support through a donation would be incredibly valuable in helping us continue this important work.
